So Shiatsu is based in Brighton and was founded by it’s lead practitioner, Irene Elliott. She graduated from the European Shiatsu School in October 2005 after completing 3 years of shiatsu training. During this time she did voluntary work using shiatsu to help autistic adults.

She is a practising Registered General Nurse with nursing experience in General Practice, Family Planning, Sexual Health, Orthopaedics, HIV/AIDS and Mental Health. Her western medicine training and many years of experience benefits her Complimentary Therapy practice, enabling her to be a safer practitioner.

Irene is a Reiki Master and can also offer treatments in Reiki.
